Virtual Science Clubs

These clubs are apart of a 4-week series of consecutive small group instruction and exploration. Children will work with Wagner educators to study topics in the natural sciences.

Date: Science clubs will start July 20th and run through August 14th

Time: Decided on the availability of the participants

Please note that there will be a mandatory parent orientation meeting on Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00am and 6:00pm. Parents are only required to attend one.

Science Clubs:

  • Bringing Nature Inside - For rising 2nd and 3rd graders

Join Ms. Rebecca to spend some time with nature, from the comfort of your own home. Learn about native plants, making observations, and your important role in taking care of the planet!

  • Our Solar System - For rising 4th and 5th graders

Blast off with Mr. Jacob to explore our neighborhood in the cosmos. Learn about our solar system, and what makes the different planets unique and special.

  • STEM Club - For rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders

Interested in what it takes to be a professional scientist? Learn about the real skills that scientists today are using to discover our world and communicate what they know.

Length of program: 30-40 minutes

Access to program: Science Clubs will take place on Google Meet

Group Size: Limited capacity for each club, depends on the amount of participants

Cost: All of our programs are FREE, although donations are encouraged. The recommended amount is $3 per child. This is a suggestion - - any contribution your group can offer will make a difference.
